Your Monday Weather Forecast for September 18, 2023

Rain is slowing down in the east. But thunderstorm warnings are in effect for the West and Midwest today. Plus temperatures are pretty mild today for most of the country except down south. Here's your full forecast. Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist James Gregory with your chat, coast to coast forecast and you know, it looks pretty quiet in the east out to the west. Here we go. We got the chance for some storms firing up here out in the nation's midsection on satellite and radar picture. We've got rain all the way from Boston to New York to New Jersey to Philly. Almost down to DC all the way through the Philly Metro. Maybe down to Wilmington, Delaware. I still have some rain continuing there but pretty quiet in the upper Midwest. Quiet in the Gulf of Mexico. Out to the west, you head out towards the inner mountain. It's really quiet there as well. West coast looking. Ok. All right, tomorrow the rain is gone. We got gorgeous weather setting up from the New York City Metro to Philly down to DC all the way through Atlanta as well. A couple of showers towards Omaha, Chicago land. Couple showers as well as we move towards Wednesday. It's even nicer really Wednesday from down East Maine through Wilmington, North Carolina and Atlanta as well. Further out to the west and more showers and look at that. A couple of snow showers starting to pop on Thursday towards the metropolis of Boise, Ida. All right. So, as we head in towards your forecast at high numbers, Philly 76 tomorrow, New York at 75 Dallas and Houston back into the mid nineties as well. And then that heat starts to spike a little bit to ST Louis and Chicago Land but staying cool in New York and Philly on Wednesday with high temperatures in the seventies further out to the West San Fran and L A in the upper sixties and lower seventies. And by Thursday, New York still looks great and still hot in the lone star state. And that's a look at your triple C forecast.
