And time now for a look at the weather, parts of the south and northeast are under possible flash flood risks as well as some continued triple digit temperatures around Texas. Here's your full forecast. I'm Samantha Ari. With your latest chatter weather update. The extreme heat continues another day across the south. You can see it high temperatures today well into the triple digits again, for parts of Texas to Louisiana, even Florida, it's really hot and humid temperatures in the nineties feeling more like 100 degrees. And we do have the threat for more storms today that could bring some heavy rain today. The areas that we're watching in northern Alabama and Georgia here up into the northeast parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey across New York City, up towards Boston. Showers and storms today could bring some locally heavy rainfall and we might get some street flooding around your area. So just keep that in mind for the afternoon, you see those storms developing later on this afternoon and then tonight, the wet weather will clear out as we head into your Friday. Looking nice across the northeast, even to the north and west. Yes, we get a couple of scattered showers around the four corners but nothing too major is happening. Getting closer to the weekend, some storms will start to brew in the Midwest tracking towards the east coast. This will be Saturday into Sunday and then things are clearing. Nice quiet. Look for you across the Dakotas to the northwest around the Rockies for Monday early next week. Meanwhile, it could be a wet start to the week for you throughout the Great Lakes and down along the east coast where the heat will continue in the south. So today, looking at some storms in Buffalo, it's 76 degrees. It's not quite as warm. 79 in Washington DC. With that rainfall for you in the afternoon could be heavy at times hot. New Orleans 100 degrees to Dallas 106 and look at Florida 95 in Orlando, 95 in Tampa. You could get some pop up storms in the afternoon. We've been talking about that cooler weather along the west coast. San Francisco. 69 partly sunny to Seattle. What a beautiful day. 76 we have some heat from Vegas to Salt Lake City sunshine today with temperatures topping out in the nineties to near 100 degrees.
