Time. Now for a look at the weather. Parts of the north are getting some serious winter weather today with some below 20 degree temperature is Kristen and a foot of snow. Plus rain showers will be sweeping across parts of the Midwest. Here's your full forecast. I'm meteorologist, Samantha Ari. With your latest cheddar weather update, we have some wintry weather today, especially across Montana and it's moving in the Dakotas. You can see temperatures in the teens to near 20 degrees where some spots are picking up close to a foot of snow. And then on the other hand, in the south, it's still hot. It's still humid. Houston to Tampa and Miami temperatures well into the eighties feeling like 90 degrees and we have that warm weather pushing into the north northeast as well. Let's talk about some of that snow you can see around Billings and then especially into North Dakota. Now picking up 8 to 12 inches, maybe a little bit more in some spots. So it's the first big blast of winter for the season and this storm will be tracking east through the day today by Fargo, eventually moving into, uh Minnesota as we head into your Friday. The storm will lift up north into Canada and kind of settle down a little bit. We will be tracking showers on the tail end. This is Friday to Saturday through places like Dallas, extending up into Ohio, eventually reaching the northeast on Sunday, some rain showers followed by a big cool down. So all the warm weather that you have right now will be ending next week and you are going to be turning much cooler as well. In the meantime, across the Midwest, we'll get lots of sunshine for you and it will be nice and seasonable today. 76 degrees in New York City, it is a warm 1, 80 degrees in Washington DC with sunshine from Cincinnati to Chicago. Temperatures in the sixties to near 70 84 New Orleans and 84 today with sunshine in Orlando. Let's go to the northwest. 29 Rapid City are looking at that snow, especially in the mountains. Salt Lake City, some rain at 49 79 in Vegas. So not as hot, beautiful sunshine today in Seattle and cool with temperatures stopping out in New York. 51 degrees.
