Time. Now for a look at the weather, here is a full forecast. I'm meteorologist Samantha. With your latest chatter weather update, we are tracking hurricane Lee off the east coast. We are watching a high risk of rip currents. We have large surf, some beach erosion and possibly some coastal flooding during times of high tide, especially around the northeast. You can see hurricane Lee through today and tomorrow we will be passing east of the Carolinas Long Island in Boston making landfall near the Canadian Maritimes by about Sunday afternoon. So later on this evening, we have those large waves in and the Carolinas about 10 to 15 ft waves moving up the coast here towards New Jersey, Long Island and New York City area and then by Cape Cod. Now Saturday to Sunday, the storm will start to weaken and move off to the northeast and things wind down a little bit. We are talking about sunshine today through the Great Lakes, beautiful weather, cooler weather. It's hot and humid around the southeast with just some pop up showers and storms. Nothing too big, nothing too organized. You can see the main show is Hurricane Lee by Friday in Saturday, the start of the weekend, some storminess will arrive from Texas here up into Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. That's going to be the story through the weekend. We could see some pop up showers and storms. Hurricane Lee is tracking just east of New York City here affecting Maine with some heavy rain bands, gusty winds and then tracking into the Canadian Maritimes. Saturday to Sunday. Our weather really starts to clear. We have a couple of light showers around the east coast, but look at how nice it is around the north, especially throughout the mountains. Montana. You have beautiful sunshine. The four corners will be improving as well. So some nice stuff coming up for you. A cool down today. Buffalo, 68 76 New York City. 80 beautiful day in Washington DC. 93 Tampa, hot, humid again with those storms to Houston, 88 cooler in Dallas at 79 around the northwest. We have 76 in Seattle. 80 today. Beautiful day in Salt Lake City could be some afternoon storms popping up in Denver at 73 degrees with sun and clouds.
