Your Thursday Weather Forecast for September 28, 2023

Now to the weather, some thunderstorms and scattered showers are making their way across the east coast plus some high temperatures still lingering in parts of the south. Here's your full forecast. Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist James Gregorio with Chet coast to coast forecast. Here we go. And you know what? We've got actually a slight little thunderstorm risk for today in New Jersey and points to the west. But for the most part, I think we're shaping up generally, right, particularly the west coast, the western half of the United States, the better half, some scattered showers and storms moving into the Ohio Valley, some scattered showers and storms off the east coast. Part of that are the remnants, believe it or not of Ophelia, which will get recycled into the overall pattern. Here, you can see some of that rain down in the Gulf of Mexico a little further out to the west. Things are clear and quiet as well and then well out to the west, still very, very quiet. So here's the deal on your Friday. We've got rain over the New York City metro rain to the south. That band of rain continues down into the Gulf of Mexico as well by Saturday. I think that rain moves out fairly early in the New York City Metro and certainly out of Philly, by about midday, we look better and Sunday certainly is a rock star of a day. It's an absolutely gorgeous day from Boston all the way through New York DC points to the south east coast looks great other than Florida on Sunday. So that's the better day of the weekend. We've got rain moving out of the corners there as we head from Sunday into Monday as well. Temperatures for the most part, high temperatures on your Friday ugly weather here over a good chunk of the northeast and mid Atlantic. 85 in Atlanta, Dallas, about 87 Saturday, you know, Saturday morning starts off a little rough in the east, in the northeast, but otherwise generally shaping up. Ok, Dallas still in the mid nineties and that is a look at your triple C forecast.
