Your Tuesday Weather Forecast for July 25, 2023

All right time now for a look at the weather, some rainfall and even hail and damaging winds hit the Middle States. Meanwhile, the whole country is still getting that intense heat. Here's your full forecast. I'm meteorologist Samantha with their latest chet weather update. So the heat is on today in the Midwest and in the upper plains, we do have a threat for some severe weather. Also in the Washington DC area, tracking some showers and storms today, heavy rainfall, possibly some hail and damage winds. So keep an eye to the sky today throughout the Dakotas and we have that very warm and humid weather going on. So throughout this afternoon across the northeast, we have some sunshine watching a couple of storms popping up this afternoon, but the severe weather threat is right by Washington DC. You can kind of see that bull's eye developing later on today and then up to the north by Fargo, some nasty storms in your area down the south. We have the heat. The northwest is looking ok through midweek by Wednesday to Thursday, tracking some stormy weather across the Great Lakes that will eventually head into the northeast by Thursday night where the heat and humidity is on. You could be talking about your first heat wave of the season and it's still very hot and humid across the southeast in Florida. Watching those pop up showers and storms as we head into the start of the weekend. So, on Friday, some storms around upstate New York into the Great Lakes down south through Texas, it's hot, it's humid. You have that sunshine. We have sunny skies, not much going on across the northwest through the start of the weekend. And then we'll get a little relief from that heat in the northeast by the time we head into Sunday and especially Monday of next week. So today New York City, 84 degrees dry start this afternoon. We are watching that chance for storms Chicago near 90 to Cincinnati. Sunshine with hot weather going on for you. Dallas 104. You just can't get a break from this heat from Atlanta to Orlando and Tampa temperatures in the nineties as well. With that high humidity check out Vegas 111 degrees. You've been in this heat wave for a long time now, but it does continue to be cooler from places like San Francisco to Seattle. Looking at sunshine, nice temperatures with highs in the seventies.
