Your Tuesday Weather Forecast for October 17, 2023

Now to the weather, it's relatively quiet across the country today. Though, rain showers are expected later in the week plus some temperatures will be warming up in the midweek. Here's your full forecast. Meteorologist Scott Skoff here with your forecast on Cheddar mainly dry across much of the continental us on this Tuesday will be beautiful for a lot of us. But as we go into the rest, we could see some more rain chances building into the northeast come Friday and Saturday. So let's break this down. Looks really nice. Some areas of fog over in Appalachia as we are looking at those drier conditions, but still on the sticky side over at the Gulf coast and over towards Florida in Georgia. As you go towards the north and west, the great plains looking pretty good there, but towards Montana, Idaho, seeing a few showers moving. Yes, some pinks and whites, a little bit of snow, seeing some reports of that in the rocky mountains and over toward the Great Smoky and Appalachian mountains too. So definitely. Yes, we're starting to see some of that frozen precip, sneak on in there across the country and California looking pretty good there too. So let's break down what we're gonna see for your Wednesday. A few showers off the shore as well as towards the Upper Midwest, the Dakotas and Minnesota. And then, yeah, cooler air starts to push in behind it. That's all this rain and moisture moving from the Midwest and even a little bit of that moisture coming off the Gulf coast, that's gonna be combining, moving towards the mid Atlantic come Friday, all that rain from Toronto, Canada to New Orleans. And that's gonna be pushing from west to east into your Saturday dry though mainly for the second half of the country, the western half of the country as you go towards your Thursday, Friday. And alright, so looking pretty good there as we go to your high temperatures across the country, warm spots looking like Miami to Orlando Houston, Albuquerque as well. Sixties from Fargo to New York City. 78 though in San Francisco, Los Angeles as well. Thursday. We're looking at those warmer temperatures from Denver, 80 degrees, 88 in Houston still sixties over towards Fargo in Chicago, Billings, Montana though a bit warm 75 degrees, that's about 15 degrees above average.
