Your Wednesday Weather Forecast for August, 9 2023

I'm meteorologist Hilda Estevez. With your latest weather details across the nation for Cheddar. Notice how just the Carolinas are under some severe thunderstorm threat for Thursday. It's a two out of five, so not typically too intense and on the other side and southern portions of the Appalachian Mountains, but we could notice that that wet weather is definitely going to be causing some concerns. Although I know that many other parts of the nation could use that moisture where no seeing that the northeast is trending dry. And we are also noticing that the high heat and temperatures and no rain is also still the case for Florida and the Panhandle. Notice though Missouri definitely enjoying those showers and storms. But of course, we're noticing also on the drier side is the West Seattle has been seeing some showers, but those won't be too much of a concern as we progress throughout the day today. And notice how on Thursday it definitely we we're talking about the Mid Atlantic heading upwards towards the northeast that continues to fizzle out and forward and then another wave does drop down back through Chicago when we're talking about Friday, Saturday. A bit more convective energy when we're talking about the Great Lakes. And of course, we're noticing the showers also continuing to pivot slowly merging into Dallas where it's much needed, especially after this record breaking heat that they're also experiencing in places like New Mexico Dallas. With the possibility of the triple digits once again, that high humidity elevated, making feel like temperatures surging to 1 10 and 1 15, specifically in those regions. Saturday definitely starts to bring a bit more relief when we're talking about the seventies once again to Los Angeles, but the triple digits will continue to stay and be big focal point for the lone star state. Notice today's comforting temperatures with a low humidity but a surge once again when we're talking about Thursday with the potential for showers and storms across the northeast.
