Let's switch gears. Now, let's talk about something pleasant. Christen. The weather parts of the northwest are currently below 60 degrees with some snow expected later in the week and you believe that the South east will be getting some rain soon. Here is your fort, I'm Samantha Audie. With your latest chatter weather update. Today, we have cool weather in the northwest, especially through the Rockies. You can see the colors of blue and green with the chilly temperatures and it's still quite warm in the southeast for Florida eighties to near 90. But the pattern is going to flip. You are going to be looking at a nice cool down through the Gulf States into Florida and then warmer weather in the northwest, especially, um, along the west coast over by California. Today, we are watching a lot of wet weather, uh, tropical moisture here in the Gulf of Mexico, heading up towards New Orleans, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia, especially along the coast. And that system will be trekking to the east moving offshore. Uh, by the time we head into Thursday and Friday across the north, you can see some of that colder air coming in here through the mountains, we are getting some snow, otherwise rain will be spreading into the Great Lakes. So by Friday and Saturday, uh on the northeast, you'll be getting ready for some of that wet weather for you. It is going to be another rainy kind of gray and damp weekend. But once that storm moves out late in the weekend, look across the south, you get your cool down, you get that nice sunshine up into the Midwest. It will be beautiful and across the northwest. Not too much happening, but Seattle, you'll be getting a couple more rain showers early next week. So today 69 in New York City, 72 Washington DC. Beautiful with sunshine. A little bit cooler up to the north. Uh Places like New Orleans, 73 getting rid of ready for some of that heavy rainfall. 89 in Tampa with some afternoon thunderstorms. 81 in Charlotte, there's some of the cooler weather from Salt Lake City. 57 you could see a thunderstorm this afternoon. Hot spot again is Vegas at 83 with sunshine windy conditions by San Francisco. Seattle scattered showers today with temperatures in the fifties.
