Your Wednesday Weather Forecast for Sept. 20, 2023

Time now for a look at the weather, some rain showers will be popping up in parts of the Midwest. Plus some of the Northwest could be getting a little bit of snow. What come on? All right, here's a full forecast snow. Hi, everyone. I'm meteorologist, Alice Green. It's time for your latest cheddar weather update and going on out and about across the country. We're going to be watching a few pots of shower activity across portions of the mid Mississippi River Valley area as well as down across the Sunshine state in Florida. But the rest of the country for the most part is trending on the dry side of things. Some passing showers are out there in the northwest then for today and Thursday, we see an air pressure start to move on in across the Pacific northwest. You see some pink and some blue right there, indicative of some possible mixed shower activity along with some snow showers. But we are talking about just rain falling on down across much of the rest of the nation shower activity, especially across the southeast and an area of low pressure likely to slowly move up the east coast going on in from Thursday into Friday. Eventually bringing rain and windy conditions up across the northern plains. That same low pressure system coming out of the Pacific Northwest heads over that way and then we go from Friday and then towards the weekend and that system continues to slow up the east coast towards the New York area. Meanwhile, we got rain and cold rain. I may add, falling on down across portions of the northern plains for your day. On Wednesday, Burlington, 69 degrees, mostly sunny skies, picture perfect weather in the big apple. 74 degrees for you DC is at 80 degrees. Cincinnati is at 84. We go down towards the deep south. We got showers and thunderstorms falling on down across portions of Florida. We got nice weather in national 86 degrees. It's still steamy out there, New Orleans, Dallas Houston all in towards the nineties. Then we move out towards the west coast. L A 71 degrees, mostly sunny skies. Las Vegas, 92 not bad. Rapid City 78 cooler conditions though can be found towards the north and west where we do go up to Seattle. The area of low pressure I mentioned coming through the Pacific Northwest is bringing clouds and scattered showers and temperature is only getting up towards the mid sixties over that way.
