Your Weekend Weather Forecast

Let's talk about the weather. Some showers will hit parts of Pennsylvania and upstate New York. But the rest of the east coast, including right here in New York City, we're finally getting a rain free Saturday after seven straight weekends of rain, plus some of the cold air from the north northwest will be spreading across parts of the country. Here's a full forecast. Hello, everybody. I'm Storm watch team, meteorologist Mike Rizzo with our cheddar weather, you could see there is a weather front draped all the way from Louisiana through the Midwest and into the northeast. That weather front sending showers through the heart of Pennsylvania ends even into upstate New York. Now, we're expected to see these showers ultimately deliver some cooler air to the mid portion of the country and then eventually bust out the heat that's currently, uh, unleashing itself over the southeast. So we're definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for this. A local look to the northeast with showers from, from Canada through Pennsylvania into the, uh, Appalachians. Definitely watching for that front there to continue down south. You'll notice that it's rather quiet out in Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. Most of Texas is looking quiet too, but much colder here near the Dakotas into the Great Plains and Colorado as well. So just be aware, the colder weather is certainly gonna make its, uh, self known as we go throughout this week and weekend. You could see here in the air pattern as that cool and cold air settles into the mid sections of the country does eventually slide eastward and does impact to the east coast, including the mid Atlantic where you're going to see temperatures come from the eighties and then down into the sixties and fifties, especially the overnight lows, which could give you a taste of the forties down toward the Carolinas. So here's that forecast tracking that front, that heat busting front for the east that is gonna be moving through, but it's gonna produce some snow out toward the middle of the country, out toward the Co uh Colorado out toward Nebraska, out toward Kansas, even parts of Illinois and Michigan gonna definitely be getting into some wintry precipitation or even the higher elevations of the northeast out toward Maine and Vermont. Certainly expecting to see this transition as we head into and through the weekend. Now, colder weather is gonna be the story to introduce next week and it's gonna be here for most places across the US. So watch as that colder air, the bitter cold air that's in Montana for Saturday dipped down closer and closer as we go throughout the weekend and early next week.
