Time now for a look at the weather. Most of the country finally getting a break from the extreme cold weather, but rain showers are hitting the northwest. Here's your full forecast. I'm Samantha Audie with your latest chatter weather update. Well, the cold air, we're getting a little bit of a break from it. With the exception of the Dakotas today, you could see temperatures in some spots in the thirties and forties to Minnesota and Wisconsin. It's cold but a little bit better places like Dallas to Atlanta. Beautiful weather today, sixties and seventies and starting to heat up again in Florida. From Tampa to Miami. Temperatures will be in the eighties and, uh, temperatures are on the rise for you. We do have wet weather moving into the northwest by Washington to Idaho. You see the showers coming through Oregon and northern California as well and you have numerous fronts that will be passing by in the coming days. So get ready for a round of unsettled weather. The Midwest looks nice and quiet. We have that sunshine for you. It's been a little bit unsettled, cool around the northeast temperatures for you warming up this weekend. And the weather looks nice. A front tracks through the Great Lakes and that will reach the northeast in New England. Uh by late Monday into Tuesday, only a couple of showers and eventually the cooler weather will be making a return. Meanwhile, we are heating up across the south and look at that sunshine from Texas through the Gulf States. So enjoy that dry weather today. 57 in New York City, 62 in Washington DC and 56. A little bit unsettled in Detroit with the breeze and some clouds. It's nice today in Houston at 77 warming up a little bit 80 degrees in Orlando, a beautiful day and 70 with sunshine in Charleston. A little break from the showers but more rain is headed your way in Seattle at 58 Salt Lake City a nice day with sunshine 64. And we are quite warm today in Vegas. You'll have lots of sun, nice temperatures with highs in the seventies to near 80 degrees.
