Time. Now for a look at the weather. Here's your full forecast. I'm meteorologist, Samantha Jerry, with your latest cheddar weather update. Another very warm and humid day, especially across the south. But we're getting a little bit of a break around the northeast. Now, you can see some of that cooler air across the Great Lakes and that is headed east. But the big story as we go forward is going to be hurricane Lee. This record breaking storm here as it slowly tracks to the northwest and then heads up along the east coast just east of the east coast. You can see the spaghetti plots here just offshore, but we're going to be talking about large waves, rip currents and possibly some coastal flooding for next week. So it's something that we're going to be keeping our eye on. But right now, we do have some stormy weather that will pop up this afternoon across the northeast. It is very warm and humid, especially around Florida where you have some afternoon showers and storms. The Midwest to west coast is looking pretty good right now as we head into your Saturday and Sunday for the weekend, still a little bit unsettled along the east coast and we start to see Lee pop up on the screen there, you can see it in the corner. So this is Sunday to Monday as the storm is slowly headed west. Here. In the meantime, still pretty quiet around the Midwest. No big storms. You will get a little bit of wet weather around the north. It looks pretty good. Some unsettled weather headed your way in Seattle by early next week and temperatures will start to cool down a little bit. So, not as hot today in New York City at 87 afternoon storms. 93 in Washington DC, you have the heat and humidity. It's cooler, Detroit to Buffalo, mostly cloudy skies with temperatures near 70. The heat is on again from Houston to Dallas, triple digit weather for you, Orlando to Tampa. Temperatures today topping out near 90 degrees and it's cooler. Some very nice and pleasant conditions. Places like Seattle 72 nice and sunny but hot today. Salt Lake City to Denver. Tempts. Topping out near 90 degrees.
