The coronavirus pandemic is still impacting the U.S. economy’s labor force as the number of jobs added in September were far below economists' expectations. Julia Pollak, chief economist at ZipRecruiter, joined Cheddar to discuss the lackluster jobs report and how the pandemic continues to have a stronghold on the growth of U.S. jobs. She noted that there are millions of open roles in the U.S. and “it’s really unclear, at this point, what will change that.”
