Danielle Pinnock has made the transition to Hollywood with her role in the CBS comedy "Young Sheldon." The actress sits down with Alyssa Julya Smith to talk about the hit freshman show and how she landed the role.

Pinnock also touches on her one woman show, "Body/Courage," which premiered at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble in Chicago in 2016. She created the play as part of her master's project and through multiple characters, gives voice to the complexity of living and loving ones body.

Outside of acting and writing, she is a huge advocate for body positivity and loving you body, which she has taken time to write about for publications like Buzzfeed and Weight Watchers. She says she will continue to use her voice to raise awareness and create a positive change.
