Why Louis C.K.'s Cancelled Film Is "Unreleasable"
On Thursday, Hollywood was rocked yet again with more sexual misconduct allegations. The New York Times reporting five women's stories of alleged misconduct at the hands of Louis C.K. Cinemablend's Sean O'Connell and Popdust's Anie Delgado participate in Cheddar's round table about the big story. On Friday, the studio behind C.K.'s new movie "I Love You, Daddy," cancelled the film's release altogether. O'Connell has seen the movie, and says it's controversial and "awkward" content makes it "unreleasable" in light of the recent news. He also tells us that copies of the movie--sent before the news broke--arrived in awards voters' mailboxes today. Finally, we put the C.K. news in the larger context of this new era in show business.
