Netflix Sees a Surge in International Subscribers
Netflix released its quarterly earnings report after the Closing Bell on Monday. Cheddar Anchor Brad Smith breaks down the key findings from the report. The streaming network generated $2.99 Billion in revenue, added 850,000 new domestic subscribers, and 4.45 million new international subscribers. These figures beat analyst expectations, sending shares up in after-hours trading. Netflix also announced it will spend between $7 to $8 billion on content in 2018. That's one to two million more than this year.
