Rubrik is a cloud data management startup, but what it is best known for is the company's "radical transparency" policy. Bipul Sinha is the CEO and co-founder of Rubrik. Sinha believes every employee should have full access to the company and feel free to ask any and all questions. At Rubrik, all 650 employees are invited to all board meetings. Sinha says most employees attend or dial in, and this helps overall culture because it creates an atmosphere of trust. Prior to starting Rubrik, Sinha worked at Oracle and Lightspeed Venture Partners. He says that, at those companies, he learned the importance of trust and collaboration. Sinha does recognize the difficulty of employing "radical transparency" when a company goes public, but for now he is satisfied with the level of communication and openness at Rubrik.
