Thousands of new digital videos are posted on social media every day. Not all content, however, is created equal. There are certain rules you can follow to make sure your content gets seen by the most eyes possible.
Diply creates a large amount of social video through its various verticals. Dan Lagani, President and Chief Revenue Officer at Diply, lays out some of the guidelines that Diply follows to maximize engagement on video content. He says those rules, however, are always changing.
This summer, Diply said that 45 seconds was the optimal length for social video. Now they've changed that guidance to over 60 seconds. Lagani says that's a result of people becoming more comfortable with scrolling through feeds to find video.
