Be Well: DIY Raised Home Garden 

This is your salad before it hits your plate. And the great thing is you're growing your own salad, but you don't have to worry about your dog or other animals getting into your garden. So talk to me about this Diy pod. Yeah, 100%. So I made this raised garden bed specifically for my dog. Like let's be really, he loves to jump and eat all of my plants. But I made this raised garden bed in one weekend actually. And uh, it's really honestly a simple build. I built a skeleton for it kind of out of two by four cedar, made a really nice frame. In fact, the garden veggie actually stops about here. So it's only this deep, there's so much extra storage on so you can put a little door and you know, you're potting soil or whatever kind of jobs that you need totally underneath that. And so what was the hardest part? The hardest part of doing this honestly was planting the vegetables for me because I've never had a veggie garden before. This is my first veggie garden. So you're Diy huntress, but you're into building, not necessarily gardening, but look at this. I know. I actually, he was very worried that planting these a month ago, that they would not look like this now. But I'm so excited. This actually has been one of the best things we've added to our backyard. And so these are cherry tomatoes first and then, and there's little ones, we got some little baby cherry toes are the bigger tomatoes and some of them are coming in as well that I see. And then what do you have next? This is my wild cucumber plant that everyone told me would get big and I didn't believe them, but here we are, we got some baby cucumbers growing in here as well, which is nice. And then I have some bell peppers. I got red, green, yellow and lots and lots of string beans on the, oh, here's the string beans. Oh, look at, they're all right here. They're these, look, I don't know how you tell when they're ready, but they look like they, they might be ready to go. And so I use plants that are good for beginners, which is great too. So all of these are very beginner friendly for anyone, obviously where you see the sun on our face. This is an area that gets sun. So when choosing the spot to set this up, I wanna make sure it's somewhere. Yes. So a nice direct morning sun. It actually has its own dedicated water line so that I can make sure they're getting water and you just kind of piggybacks off the sprinkler. You already had. Yep. So we had a sprinkler on the ground. I added an extension pole and now it is dedicated for this planter and some of those trees on the side of the yard and you're ready to eat your salad. I'm so ready to eat my salad. I'm so I want you to invite me over because I wanna come on over for sure.
