Be Well: Labor Day Party on a Budget

Labor Day is right around the corner. And if you're anything like me, you want to celebrate with a big party. So we've invited our favorite celebrity party planner, Mikey Russo back to the show so we can have an unforgettable Labor Day bash. I already love what I'm looking at how fun. I know this is so fun. And again, you know me with the cost. So everything is from either the dollar store party City or Michael's. So everything's relatively inexpensive. But what will make it look gorgeous? I love it because it already does. You just take a look at this centerpiece, isn't it gorgeous? Wow. Yeah. Yeah. So do you wanna start over here with whatever you say? Ok. Ok. So this is movie night in your backyard. So you can do this with your family or you can invite friends over. Um So this is a popcorn bar. So what we did in the front, you'll see the toppings um you know, from chocolate to candy and stuff. So the best part of this is so if you make the popcorn fresh and it's warm, like the cho that stuff will melt. So here you can just fill your little popcorn container and then we have the toppings here. Um, and then these cute little containers that like you get at like the movie theater. Um, so you can write like your kids' names on it or you can write like the guests names right on the front, which is super cute. Um, and then we don't have to worry that somebody takes the wrong one. Yeah, exactly. And then, um you can always stuff these with other things, like other snacks and stuff. It doesn't have to be just the popcorn. Um, so everything's in one container and it's neat and organized and it looks beautiful and then at the end we just take this and we put it in the garbage piece and then so like with the plates and stuff that you can get um to that match like the tray and stuff you could use those as Decor so you can kind of just like prop them up. Um and then the little festive garlands that will always just make everything a little more f and I really like how you did this table start like this too super easy. So it's um already adhesive on the back. So you just peel it off so you could just stick it on the front if it's like not sticking too well. Like you could just do a pin or two. Yeah. All right. So now we're going to a luau. Yes. So now this is a, so people like when you do parties, right? Do you have people dress up and stuff like that? I know me too. So when you do like a tropical party, people really get into like the spirit of it. Um So this arrangement, um so it's, you know, reminiscent of a P so I just used a tall glass vase. Um And then this is burlap. So I just cut this down to size already. So what we're gonna do is we're just going to put the burlap right around the vase just like that. So you could just hold that just like that. And then, so this is another textured type of a burlap. Um So you can just take this and wrap this completely around, right? And then when you're done with this, um this is something you could even do with your kids too. It's like, oh totally. Um And then you just tie a little um at the top. So that's nice and secure. Um And you'll obviously fill the vase up with water. Um And the best part of this arrangement. So yes. Um It looks pretty and all of that, but you can make these at different heights and put them like all over the backyard and it's pretty inexpensive materials. So you could really go crazy. So I'm gonna give you some questions now, show how you do this to make it like fan out. So where's my camera right here. All right. So, um, take two and then what I do is I kind of just go in a circular motion this way. So it will all fan. Yeah, because that's the trick you want it to be nice and palm and then as soon as you're done with that, you can throw that right into the vase. Um, and then again, so you can use like the plates from the Dollar Store and use those as Decor. So, like just tuck them into the base of your greenery. Um And then of course, I love a giveaway. Yeah. So these, again, you can get at um, your local craft store. Um And then those are giveaways. All right. So we're ready to party, ready to party Labor Day, Labor Day.
