Eight Hospitalized After Severe Turbulence on Jetblue Flight

Eight people on a jetblue flight were hospitalized yesterday after their flight experienced sudden severe turbulence. Jetblue confirmed the flight from Ecuador to Fort Lauderdale Florida landed safely seven passengers and one member of the flight crew were met by medical personnel on the tarmac and taken for evaluation and treatment. In a statement jetblue said the plane was taken out of service for inspection. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration have both opened investigations into the incident.
