Finding a Last-Minute Summer Travel Deal

If you didn't book a trip this summer but are still hoping to get away. It's not too late to grab a deal. You've been dreaming about a trip abroad or even here in the States this summer, but you check the fares and you get scared. Don't be, we have some tips on how you can still get a good deal. You could look to save up to 40% by traveling at the end of August versus the middle of July when everybody is off from school, Kathy Nas of going dot com says don't give up just search smart, search the flight first and then the destination tickets to Greece. My gosh, so so expensive, but maybe tickets to Croatia aren't as expensive and you know there's blue water, amazing food. Don't get stuck on one destination. Think strategically maybe you want to take that big ticket trip over to Europe at the time of searching. I'm seeing 5 12 round trip from New York to Berlin, which you can, you're in Europe. You can take a quick budget flight over to other places and don't forget to check your mileage points. You may actually get a better deal with points during peak season. Last minute bookings may open up with points when airlines put out their tickets almost a year in advance, they save only a small amount of seats to use with points and miles because they want to try to sell them with cash first. The game is to keep searching and hopefully get lucky airfare. So it goes up and down. And so that for a consumer means that today's really expensive flight could be tomorrow's cheaper flight at the time of searching. I'm still finding great deals to places like the Bahamas from New York round trip 2 72 on a full service airline. Also, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays are usually cheaper days to fly.
