How to Upgrade Your Labor Day Party Treats

Now, when I look at this gorgeous dish, I don't think that this is a time saver, but you're really gonna help us save some time. It is a time saver. Everyone thinks they have to cook the turkey the day of Thanksgiving. You can easily cook it the day before carve it up. Put it in a pan and a little secret, put some chicken stock in the bottom of the pan and it steams the turkey and makes it super moist. Ok? So if I make it the day before I put that stock in the bottom and this on top and then how do I heat it up just until it's warm? Put on 350 you can just put your finger on it, make sure it's warm. Take it out and remember you're gonna be serving hot gravy with it. So it doesn't have to be piping, piping hot. Ok. All right. I love that one. Now, if we're gonna go to the veggies, those look beautiful down there. That's a really quick way to make sweet potatoes. You just cut them into medallions, you roast them in the oven. You can put a little olive oil, salt and pepper. When they come out some brown sugar maple syrup and a little bit of cinnamon. Fast. Easy. 123. I love it. They look delicious too and right next to it, that stuffing, but just like a big blob. Right? You make a stuffing mixture but instead of roasting it in a pan, you put them in muffin pans. You know, everybody has their own stuffing muffin. I love it. It's so cute. And this, this just looks beautiful. Isn't that great? This is an apple cider, Sangria. Just some white wine, apple cider. A little simple syrup and the fruit you can put inside. I have some berries, some apples, some oranges and a little bit of a cinnamon stick on top. I mean, I want that every day. I know you can make a virgin without the wine also. That's good too because it just is so like aesthetically pleasing. You just look at it as all those colors and textures. It's really beautiful. OK. So this right here. So let's say you're only having four people over and you don't wanna cook a whole turkey. You can get cornish hens from the supermarket. You roast them in the oven, you cook them until 100 and 65 degrees and everyone has their own miniature turkey. It's, it's, it's really a great way to serve Thanksgiving dinner for a small group. Right? I love it. And on the bottom you have like rice and some cranberry, some wild rice. You can put it right on the bottom or you can stuff the hens and you can serve it that way as well. Ok. Now, for some of the vegetarians that might be coming as well. I know you were saying the seasoning on the cauliflower is a little bit different. Yeah, I use a Montreal steak seasoning pan. See them on the stove, roast them in the oven and they come out delicious. If you have a vegan, it's a, it's a great dish or it's also a great side dish to serve with your Thanksgiving day dinner. All right. And now here we have a beautiful salad. This is a kale salad. We have pomegranate seeds. We have some butternut squash, some goat cheese, but it's a festive full salad, which is great for Thanksgiving and it doesn't take long to make it all. No, 123. Ok. Now this one is another one where we can do it a little bit ahead of time. Mashed potatoes. You can make them ahead of time and then put a little sour cream cheddar bake in the oven, put some cheddar cheese bacon on top, some scallions and you're done. Ok. Now, if I did happen to not make the baked potato myself is still can work. I hate to say it, but you can buy them mashed potatoes and then doctor them up. So they look like this and make them your own, right? Because then you take ownership of this toing and then you say did you make it? You can honestly say yes, yes I did. I did make it. Ok. Now for the morning of I know one of the concerns is you do, you're gonna eat early, you're probably gonna eat a lot. So your breakfast you want, you don't want stuff anyone so you can get protein powder, which is pumpkin protein powder, make smoothies. And then right from the box, they have amazing, amazing pumpkin bread. So you can make the pumpkin bread, serve it with the smoothies and you have a perfect breakfast and it's like setting the palate for what you're about. Have like you're in just that fall. Beautiful, great, that full mood. Right. Absolutely. All right. Now these carrots are different because they're so colorful. They're rainbow carrots. You can find them in the supermarket again. Very easy to make olive oil, salt pepper, roast them until they're done and a great side dish for your Thanksgiving Damien. And I just love the color, you know, it just like it pops. Yeah, totally. And then last, but not least that spaghetti squash, that spaghetti squash, you take the squash, cut it in half, roast it, uh, pan side down when you take it out, you just take a fork and you scrape the top and it makes that spaghetti. And now, what type of seasoning are you putting on that? I put butter, salt and pepper. Ok. And so again, if you have somebody who's vegan or if you wanna have that is just like a different side dish. Yeah, it's a great side dish.
