Keep Valentine's Day Flowers Alive Longer With a Simple Hack

His own Shannon Lanier is here to help with a special guest. Good morning Shannon. Good morning. That's right. You know, all morning. We've been discussing how to keep your homes clean. So I'm here with our men a day. Me and Creative explained on Tiktok, Make sure you're checking out so many cool hacks. So we had to share the best kitchen cleaning hacks with you guys right now. And we're talking earlier about how to keep your clean stainless steel items, like microwave your refrigerator, things like that. All those services you need and then you should be cleaning them every single day. So how do you do that well with baking soda and lime? Take a look at this. If you want to make anything stainless steel shine, just Sprinkle some baking soda and a half a line like this. Check this out. Beautiful. Oh my gosh, I'm so trying that. Today. We talked about like I'm all, but why is baking soda such a great agent to be clean. It's an abrasive. And when you mix it with the acid and like citrus fruits, like lime creates that reaction, which is perfect for cleaning dirt and grime, you know, out of the surfaces, especially stainless steel gives it a nice time. Plus if you smell, it smells like limes, the whole house smells dangerous chemicals. Alright, so lemon and vinegar. Also great to clean a microwave, Take a look, add vinegar in the bowl, half 11, microwave for one minute, Open it up and wipe it clean. I'm sure all that steam is one of the things that help make just wipe it down. I say one minute in the video but 23 minutes will do a better job. Now this is one I use a lot of honey. So we're gonna put some honey in a shot glass and try to pour it out. And you're saying that if we had cooking spray that that would make it come out a lot easier to see how hard it is. Just a lot of it's just stuck in there. It's like, so you say we should spray the shot glass just a quick little spritz, you know? And then the the honey in there will just slide off because right now it's taking forever and a lot of it's being wasted. It also makes it easy to clean later on if you didn't spray. Oh, that's true. Okay, so can that spray help with anything else? Yeah, cheese grated cheese grate. So when you're grating cheese, how many times the cheese gets stuck in the back inside, outside? If you just spray the cheese grater with cooking spray first, then grate your cheese, the cheese or slide off. Just like that is genius and you're saving money and you're not wasting all these extra things. A lot of it's still stuck in here. All right. So now another thing I noticed on your page you like plants, you're like all about helping the plants grow and different things like that, helping them stay alive. So a lot of people will be getting some flowers for valentine's day. So let's act like these are valentine's day flowers, how can vodka get our plant drunk? But no, no, how can I keep these flowers alive alive a lot longer? So roses naturally. Obviously after a few days, adding one shot of vodka in with water will like a whole shot glass or like shot, one shot glass mixed with one cup of water will prevent ethylene production, which will slow down the welding process, keeping your roses alive and fresh for longer for like 10 days versus three. Yes. Are you serious? It's kind of like the bleach trick, but this is a lot more natural vodka, vodka and bleach and if you need a drinking partner, like I'm drinking alright, So that's a great hack there, especially cause it happens for so long. But what do you think your followers asked you about the most? Like, is there a question they say or help me with this that I get such a variety of questions. It's like in every, every field cooking, cleaning plants, self care, hair care, skin care, and it's everything, you know, you do have great hair by the way. Thanks. So with you enjoy giving tips on the most the hair, the cleaning, the cooking. Honestly, it's, it's, it's whatever I'm inspired by in the day. So when I get excited about something working, that's when I film my videos and, and so, and during that day, that's, that's what I'm excited about. But next day it could be plants and the next day after that I could be cleaning it. It really is about visuals and creating content and telling a story. That's what you get most of your ideas from problems you've had or people emailing you and saying I got this or, you know, responding on your DM started with problems I had. But then by creating content, I've been reading comments from my followers and I see people asking, how do I get the oil stain? How do I get rid of wine spills? How do I get out of this and this? And then slowly, I've been trying to just research experiment based on what my followers are asking. We'll figure out something, you are figuring it out.
