Seaworld Orlando has announced the birth of three endangered small tooth sawfish pups. We're getting our first look, take a look. They were actually born back in July but the park debuted the trio this week during International Sawfish Day. According to Sea world, they are the only aquarium in the US to have the endangered species. They look like small sharks that are about 2 ft long at birth. And while they belong to the same fish group as sharks, sawfish are categorized as rays. Doctor Joseph Gaspard, the Vice President of Zoological Operations at seaworld. Orlando said this quote, this is an extraordinary success in the realm of sawfish conservation and it is our privilege to provide world class care for this critically endangered species. Seaworld says while they plan to study the sawfish, they also want to give them a healthy and a happy life.
