One Good Thing: Mother and Son Work First Flight Together

Life can be tough sometimes. So we'd like to take a moment to share one good thing happening in the world today. For a parent having your child walk in your footsteps can be an honor. And that was definitely the case for this mother. A United flight attendant was making the announcement to passengers before his flight when he made a special announcement, one of these flight attendants in particular working with us today is not only an exceptional flight attendant but also an exceptional mom. Today is the first time in two years at United, we're able to work together. She's been one of my biggest supporters of my career in becoming a pilot ever since my very first flight lesson. I'm especially honored and excited to be able to fly here for the first time today and to be able to share this experience with all of you on our flight to Madrid, to my mom.
