One Good Thing: Rescuers Help Free Trapped Dolphins

Now we know life can be tough sometimes. So we'd like to take a moment to share one good thing happening in the world today. Rescuers in Massachusetts banded together to help rescue two stranded dolphins. According to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, a group of dolphins were swimming near the mouth of the Herring River in the state and parts of the river can be extremely shallow and that's when the two dolphins became trapped. After a full day of effort, rescuers realized it would be better to inspect the two animals and manually transport them. Thankfully, they were able to successfully release them back into the wild. A spokesperson for the organization said this quote with our mobile capabilities, we were able to give the dolphins a full physical exam treatment and supportive care to counter the effects of being trapped in shallow water. We are so glad the story has a happy ending.
