'Sesame Street' is Getting a New Show Format

And Sesame Street is getting a makeover. The long running children's show is getting revamped for its 56th season as the contract with Max is set to expire. The current format is gonna be replaced with two longer narrative segments which will be separated by a new animated series. According to the Hollywood reporter, the changes will take effect in 2025 and are the most significant changes made to the program since 2016 when the show went from one hour to just 30 minutes.
